"Cuernavaca" Otomi Pillow

Larkin Lane Designs

Blue and white forever! Who doesn't LOVE this classic color combination?? Our "Cuernavaca" pillow features an authentic Mexican Otomi textile with exquisite embroidery done by hand. The Otomi takes center stage, but is complemented by a blue linen background fabric and chic tape trim. This is the kind of accent piece that can launch the decor of an entire room!

22" x 11" Background fabric is blue linen. Down insert included.

"Otomi" or "Tenango" textiles are hand-embroidered by the Otomi Indians in the Mexican state of Hidalgo. They are typically made from cotton muslin and feature saturated colors, floral and animal patterns, and bold use of positive and negative space.

At Larkin Lane, Lark hand selects each Otomi textile directly from the artisans and then designs beautiful one of a kind pillows with coordinating fabric and trim. We know that our clients appreciate the distinction between art and imitation. We are honored to help preserve and perpetuate this incredible textile tradition.
