"Otomi" or "Tenango" textiles are hand-embroidered by the Otomi Indians in the Mexican state of Hidalgo. They are typically made from cotton muslin and feature saturated colors, floral and animal patterns, and bold use of positive and negative space.

At Larkin Lane Designs, we purchase our Otomi textiles directly from the craftsmen and women in Mexico. We then design and create beautiful one of a kind pillows with coordinating fabric and trim here in the USA. Multiple generations of women in both Mexico and the USA were employed to create these pieces of art!
