Our Story

Larkin Lane founder and creative director, Lark Champion grew up exploring the rich world of international textile arts.

As a child she traveled to faraway lands with her mother, a folk art collector, searching for undiscovered masterpieces.

While her mother looked for new items to add to her gallery, Lark fell in love with the fabrics of these cultures.

A fascination for fabrics became a common thread in her future endeavors.

Lark first worked as an interior designer and incorporating her global finds into otherwise traditional or modern spaces.

After noticing a gap in the home goods market for this distinctive aesthetic, Lark designed custom pillows and furnished the beginnings of Larkin Lane.

Our Commitment

Since the company’s inception in 2015, Lark has deepened her relationships with her artisan partners and expanded to offer women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, and more.

But her aims have remained the same:

HONOR ARTISANS WHO STITCH CULTURE, CUSTOMS, AND QUALITY TOGETHER BY HAND AND SHARE THEIR SKILL AND STORIES WITH OTHERS.

Today Lark carries on her family tradition traveling the globe with her mother and now her own children, including them in her work and mirroring the multi-generational artisan teams that inspire her most.
